Full Moon in Scorpio Vibes ✨
Hidden Wisdom from a Butterfly 🦋
There’s something magical about the flight of a butterfly.
It’s hard not to stop and gaze when one flutters across your path, right?
They seem so light and airy and graceful.
Something even more captivating is the butterfly chrysalis. They seem so perfect in shape and form.
What we don’t see from the outside though, is the transformation taking place on the inside.
Once the caterpillar forms its chrysalis, it’s like it’s entering a cocoon of change. Inside, it releases enzymes that dissolve its entire caterpillar body into a kind of caterpillar soup. Sounds gross, right? But stay with me!
Slowly but surely, the soup starts to take shape into recognizable parts: wings, antennae, legs, and all the other bits that make up a butterfly.
Once the transformation is complete, the chrysalis becomes transparent, revealing the fully formed butterfly inside.
It’s like nature’s ultimate makeover reveal! And when the time is right, the butterfly breaks free from its chrysalis, unfurls its wings, and takes its first fluttering flight into the world.
Does that feel familiar on some level?
The last 4-6 weeks since before the start of the eclipse cycle, have felt a lot like that. Mercury Retrograde, in Aries, energized by the Aries Equinox followed by the Aries Eclipse and then the Libra Solar Eclipse, have felt like this cocktail (or soup) of transformation – some changes you may have deliberately chosen and some may have been brought about by the reality of life events.
I have witnessed business owners changing their business models (some quite drastically); individuals retiring and starting a new phase of life; or getting laid off and pursuing a new career direction; or getting surprise news that the physical injury that has hindered them for almost a year has completely healed.
Eclipses are known to bring about change, not all of which feels so great. I have also witnessed the loss of way too many pets, loved ones, and surprise injuries and illnesses.
In essence, the process of personal spiritual evolution mirrors the metamorphosis of the butterfly, reminding us that…
…within every ending lies the potential for a beautiful new beginning. ✨🦋
That last part is always a choice. A Decision.
A decision to choose to look at it from that perspective, once of course, we have had a chance to lick our wounds and grieve what we’ve lost.
Then we can stop and ask the pivotal question “What am I to learn from this?”
With the recent Solar Eclipse in Aries igniting the flames of courage and new beginnings, and the Full Moon today in Scorpio illuminating the depths of your soul, there’s never been a more potent time to dive deep and embrace your own personal metamorphosis.
